Archbishop Paglia's Introduction to Palliative Care Conference - Houston September 18th 2018
The Vatican and The United Methodist Church along with participation of the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston are linked in a conference Sept. 16-18 to defend patients’ quality of life. The Palliative Care and Spirituality for Life (PCSLife) conference is a joint project of the Catholic Church’s Pontifical Academy for Life (Vatican), The University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center and the Houston Methodist Research Institute. These groups are dedicated in their passion for promoting palliative care that is just, compassionate, and accessible throughout the world.
The President of the Pontifical Academy for Life has opened the Conference.
