AI and Medicine. The Challenge of Human Dignity
Vatican City. June 12, 2025. «AI and Medicine. The Challenge of Human Dignity» this International Congress is co-organized by the International Federation of Catholic Medical Associations (FIAMC) and the Pontifical Academy for Life (PAV). It will be held from November 10 to 12, 2025, at the “Augustinianum” Congress Center, located at Via Paolo VI 25, Rome.
As President FIAMC prof. Barnard Ars explains: «A.I. is certainly a fine technical aid for medicine. Nevertheless, in the face of its undeniable power, doctors cannot remain fascinated, but must conceive and show that the human being is not the object of a problem to be solved, but a rich and profound reality, which must be approached through and in a welcoming relationship with his or her experience. A.I. must remain at the patient's service!».
Msgr. Renzo Pegoraro, PAV President, underlines that «together with the International Federation of Catholic Physicians, we believe that we can offer a significant moment of knowledge, of deepening, of confrontation, to face these new challenges that artificial intelligence is representing in the field of medicine and health care.We look forward to seeing you in Rome in November. - Late registration (from October 1, 2025): FIAMC and PAV Members: €370; Non-members: €470
A fee of €100 applies to all on-line participants. Once registration and payment are completed, a connection link will be sent shortly before the Congress.
Participants aged 35 or younger may attend either in-person or on-line for a reduced fee of €100.
