GENERAL INFORMATION
PARTICIPATION OPTIONS
The Workshop will be accessible both in person and remotely.
DATES AND VENUE
The Workshop is organized by the Pontifical Academy for Life (PAV). It will be held from February 16 to 17,
2026, at the Augustinianum Institute, via Paolo VI, 25, Rome (Italy).
PARTICIPATION FEES
In-presence: 60€. For in-presence registration: LINK

PAPAL AUDIENCE
Please note that an audience with the Holy Father has been requested. Confirmation will not be available
until a few days before the event. If granted, the audience may be opened only to Speakers and
Academicians or also to all conference participants. Further details will be communicated as soon as they
become available.
SIMULTANEOUS TRANSLATION
Simultaneous translation will be available in English, Italian, French, and Spanish for both in-person and
on-line participants. For the distribution of the receivers, you will be asked to leave an identity document
which can be retrieved upon return of the radio receiver.

NOT INCLUDED IN THE IN-PERSON REGISTRATION FEETravel and accommodation expenses are not included and must be arranged individually by each
participant. Any costs not explicitly listed under "Included in the in-person registration fee" are not
covered.

Here you can find a non-exhaustive list of facilities, mainly religious, offering accommodation near the congress venue.
DISCUSSION SESSIONS
During the discussion sessions, participants may ask questions in writing by filling out the question forms
found in the conference bags. These forms will be handed to the speakers. Additional forms can be
requested from the hostesses in the room. Those who will join remotely will be able to submit questions
through the chat.
CERTIFICATE OF PARTICIPATION
Certificates of participation can be requested, both for in-person and remotely participation, via email (events@pav.va) after the conclusion of the Workshop and will be sent as PDF attachment.
VISA
Participants requiring a visa to travel to Rome are kindly asked to notify the organizers well in advance, due
to the length of the bureaucratic process.
